Pink Rose

It is an oil painting of pink rose, I hung it upside down in my living room looks bright and contrasting to the baby pink wall.

A little composition:

Pink Rose is my favorite flower
And red is what I give to my lover
Yellow are for my friends for ever
Not any for those I knew never
Aren’t I one of those so witty and cleaver

My Little Lilly Pond

This is another oil on canvas. This is a very simple painting of lily flowers and gold fish between reeds in a small pond. When ever I talk about lotus, lily, pond I  just remember my college canteen. Actually it is built on a tiny elevated rocky hillock. The path has some beautifully carved gardens on rock pits and amidst these is a very beautiful and lovely little pond with some lily and tiny gold fish. I love my college mainly for this little beauty. The scenery is really pleasing and calm especially on rainy days. I grew up with nature at every stage of my life as my parents love gardening and there are many trees in my backyard. I have planned to have a small lotus pond at my back yard in the near future.
With love of nature do we survive :-D

Boating

This is one of my watercolor paintings made during my college days. I got the inspiration from The Hindu news paper almost 5-6 years back. It was regarding the beauty of our gods own land of kerala. I really loved the beautiful lotus covered lake and clear sky. It is a real natural beauty, I have visited the place but only once and I would love going on another visit this time with my family.

Purple Peace Band

This is a mix of poster colors and pearl fabric colors, on watercolor paper. I love this painting as it is bright and vibrant, This is my Purple peace makers who dance and play music to sooth every ones heart and bring joy and peace to the world. I just wish this could be in real too.

If only people realize how gifted they are
Extend their hands to drape peace to each one's heart
there would be no war and no soul would depart
in shame and guilt of leaving love behind - torn apart

May peace rule the world! <3

Bliss of Light

This is an oil painting with a little hidden thought in it. I actually painted it for showering light on education for every one. For I consider that education is like the ever glowing lamp that once lit in a person's mind would change his entire life, and we all know the saying - "give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish you feed him for life" same way I would add up by saying Educate a person and he would find his own way of survival. Education is every kids birth right. I just pray for a 100% educated India.

My Tiny Little Wood House

This is one of my old freehand paintings which I made  guess during 11th standard year, I actually found it piled up amidst other scribblings. I used fabric paint on paper I really love the glossy look of the painting. I wish I could really have a beautiful wood house by a peaceful and clear little pond with lots of gold fish and few lotus flowers and loads of trees and flowers growing around the house. what a beautiful life it would be to wake up to birds chirping at 5-6 am in the morning, nice walk for an hour. wow I can just go on and on and on 'coz I believe the closer we are to nature closer we would be to good health :-D.

Thanka Painting

This is Thanka art and my first one too. It is an authentic art style form Nepal created as early as 11th century by Buddhists to illustrate life of Buddha and various other religious preaching. This art style involves lot of tiny bits of details, that’s just what makes it a little time consuming. It is such a colorful and vibrant painting with soft eyes and happy face. I used poster colors for this painting and also some fluorescent colors just to enhance its brightness, some paintings are also made using pure gold and bright color in it with regards to the occasion it is to be used. I have got it framed now and have hung it in our living room it looks so contrasting to the cream color walls. Well worth the enjoyment I had painting this picture hope to do some more when time permits.
